Intervention 2

Dr. Puneet Misra is a Medical faculty member at the Centre for Community Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He is currently managing the Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project (CRHSP) of AIIMS and provides social, preventive, promotive and curative health care to the rural population.

He has been involved with Rural Trauma training course for doctors at AIIMS and has collaborated with various national and international organizations for community based health care and research.

He has been awarded the fellowship of IAPSM and IPHA.

He has to his credit more than 30 research projects funded by National, International organizations. He has published more than fifty papers, monograph and book chapter in scientific publications internationally.

Dr Misra has over twenty years of experience as Physician, Researcher, epidemiologist, and Public health expert. He has worked and actively  participated in research and academics at institutions in India and USA.

Dr Misra has served as a member of the Executive Committee of Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) for many years and was National President of IAPSM for year 2013-2014

He is also member of various committees to help Govt in health related issues.  

As a Co-Investigator Dr. Puneet Misra leads the rural site of AIIMS which is involved in Intervention 2.
